Bre + Shaina are it. This is the kind of love you feel privileged to be a witness of. Individually they are kind, caring, funny, and warm. But together they are greater than the sum of their parts. It is impossible not to be happy when you are in their orbit.

The property boasts a beautifully restored barn, sprawling fields, and a picturesque lake, providing a stunning backdrop for both ceremonies and receptions. Whether you’re envisioning a romantic outdoor wedding or a cozy indoor celebration, the venue offers flexible spaces to match your vision. For Bre and Shaina, it was a warm summer day so they opted to get ready inside their respective suites, have their ceremony outdoors, and most of their reception outdoors (minus dinner).

Let’s Do It Again

If you’re looking for a charming, unforgettable wedding venue in Ohio, 1885 Farms should be at the top of your list. Its combination of historic charm, natural beauty, and exceptional service makes it a perfect setting for your wedding day. My personal favorite is their MASSIVE field of tall grasses and wildflowers. We spent fifteen minutes taking couples portraits weaving through the field at sunset and it was nothing short of magical.

When I sent Shaina and Bre their sneak peeks I jokingly asked them if they could get married every summer so we could hang out again. That’s the thing about working with such amazing couples, there is usually a bit of sadness for me as we part ways. But it is always worth it and it truly is a microcosm of what life is like. We have these incredible moments that we want to hold on to forever and it is because of photographs that we can.
